Roster
Matt Beeman:
Matt has an extensive background as a professional musician in Rochester, NY. Some of his past work has been with Nik and the Nice Guys and Disney Cruise Lines, as well as the Rochester, NY favorites: Big Eyed Phish, Zero Gravity and The Tripping Billies, Big Eyed Phish and The Tripping Billies were two of Rochester's best known local acts as well as the area's biggest live draws. Matt has also performed with some of the best Regional and National Acts in the Country. Acoustic Brew allows Matt's raw vocal and guitar abilities to shine through on each and every song, while his energetic and comedic personality makes everyone feel like they are part of the show.
Steve Montfort:
Steve is also no stranger to the Rochester music scene with past experience in bands such as Banned from the Tavern as well as the popular group After 5. The authenticity and honest musical communication provided by this acoustic format is what draws Steve to this exciting style of music. "The percussive / pumped rhythm and raw steel string lead approach to favorite tunes is just something that needs to be experienced." Steve's continuing desire to perform innovative arrangements of classic, alternative, and modern rock tunes with a generous helping of improvisation is what drew him to Acoustic Brew.
Nestor "Tito" Ortiz:
Nestor accompanies Acoustic Brew by adding the percussive punch to their already big acoustic sound. Nestor has extensive experience throughout the Finger Lakes Region as an accomplished musician with bands Unbalanced, Hot Sauce, & 4:20. In addition to percussion Nestor also adds background vocals in addition to his unique "Beat Box" technique which leaves most audiences amazed how one man can sound like 10 different instruments. The energy that Matt & Steve project on stage is what drew Nestor to Acoustic Brew.
