Description
Gallery Acoustics Recording Studio is a beautiful 720sq/ft facility nestled in the quiet farming community of North Collins, NY. Its about a 35 minute drive South from Buffalo. The studio is home to a growing collection of high quality instruments and recording equipment, much of which is rare, vintage or boutique. A good portion of that equipment is either modified or designed and built by Gallery Acoustics - the cause for GA's unique sound.
Owned and Operated by Recording Engineer & Producer, Mike Congilosi, Gallery Acoustics was established in May of 2010 with the goal of providing the best sound quality in WNY and offering it for the lowest price. The studio is open 24/7 by appointment only.

History
Mike Congilosi studied Studio Production at SUNY Purchase College, where he received a Master of Music and Bachelor of Music, Cum Laude. He also obtained an Associates degree in Music Business from Villa Maria College of Buffalo. In his 13 years of professional experience, Mike has worked at several Studio's throughout NYS as both an in-house Engineer and as a Freelance Engineer. He has produced a number of projects for local and regional signed and unsigned bands, with some big projects currently in the works.
Mike is a self-taught electirical engineer who spends much of his non-studio time repairing tube guitar amps, building custom guitar FX pedals and designing studio equipment. Mike's passion for hi-fi audio is infused into each of his designs with the use of the finest esoteric components on Earth. GA-built equipment is designed to overly please demanding audiophiles & studio professionals alike. |
