Description
"If you haven't heard Vice & Vanity yet, don't expect your typically boring acoustic duo. These two self taught musicians from Rochester, NY actually are good, REAL GOOD. To begin, Eric Casey's command of the guitar and "voice of a generation type" lyricism is unprecedented. He has been writing, producing and composing interesting music and lyrics for over 12 years now. By combining these talents, with the robust and sexy approach of Jenny Mirabella, Vice & Vanity sets out to do what no folk/rock duo has ever done. That is, as a male/female set, completely rock the house!! They do it with ease. Their honest and entertaining performances and songs, are inventive and meaningful at the same time!.
Watch out, Vice & Vanity has serious potential to break out." - Honest Tune Magazine

History
Eric Casey met Jenny Mirabella while they both worked at a lousy call center job, selling satellite television. The two self taught musicians soon became friends. When Jenny found out Eric owned Higher Than You Records, and Eric noticed that Jenny could sing her ass off, they decided to start a band. They conceptualized Vice & Vanity in order to showcase their strengths.
Armed only with Jenny's acoustic Ovation, they rely on contagious songwriting, heart felt lyricism, and an entertainingly fun stage presence. So far they have had a quick and profound affect on local audiences. In one short month, they have already appeared at the Highland Bowl, at the No. 2 Public School and also interviewed and performed on the international television show "OPEN VIEW"!
The duo has recently added percussionist - filmmaker Lavon ' Rasta Von' Jones to the mix.
