Description
| Three Piece works with Acoustic Guitar, Harmonica, Slap Bass, and Drums. Described as "Funky Folk" music, the Dan Quinn Band plays a wide variety of venues ranging from large clubs and bars, to private parties, to Dan's solo shows at coffee houses. The band has performed all over the Northeast, and Dan has performed a series of solo shows in the Southwest. Lyrics are inspired by college life, and music entertains fans of all ages. History
| The Dan Quinn Band formed after songwriter Dan Quinn had completed a successful year of solo shows, stretching from New York to Texas. The band booked a very strong tour and entertained crowds throughout 2002 all throughout Rochester, and in college towns all over the East Coast (UVA, Springfield, Cornell, Geneseo to name some). The band has been featured on WRUR 88.5 Rochester, talentspotlight.org, and RMC at Water Street Music Hall. They are hoping to release a studio album in early 2003. |
