History
George Markey began singing at age 5. By age 12 he was hired consistently as a soprano soloist for weddings, funerals and cantering, while singing in Latin, Hebrew and Italian. By age 17 he was performing in some of the largest arenas in the country, and by age 18 one of his songs was covered by a group signed to Epic records.
He went on to write and produce several jingles for business owners through a relationship with Greater Media Radio, and his commercial productions have been aired throughout the New York-Metropolitan market. His productions earned him a Gold Jersey Shore Public Relations And Advertising award in 2003.
George Markey's latest release, "Captured" , has been hailed by Radio Promoters, Musicians and Listeners alike. One promoter, Jon Flanagan said: "Congratulations! Your Song Is Beautiful!" and "Radio Listeners Will Love It!" |
