History
THE LPF STORY
The seeds for LastPageFirst were planted in December, 2000 when singer/songwriter Jeremy Call performed some of his solo material before thousands of people at the Niagara Falls Convention Center during a youth convention. Soon, he was receiving requests to perform at area events. Without a steady backup band, Jeremy called on local guitarist Nate Gregory and drummer Brian Caine to fill in. The three played several shows together and eventually decided to form their own band. A few months later they added bassist Mike Tandle to the mix, and LPF was officially born.
Since that time, the band has played at area clubs, colleges, music fests and other venues in their hometown of Rochester, NY and in nearby Buffalo, NY, including events at the ESL sports arena before an audience of 1,700, and at the Niagara Convention Center before an audience of 7,000.
They also recently opened for national recording artists Holland at shows in both Rochester and Buffalo, and have played with local acts including Seven Head Division, Down to Earth Approach and Honest Disaster. LPF has performed at local music events, including Fairport Canal Days, Détente 2002, Pocketstock and Jackson In The Square.
LPF released a three-song CD in 2001 which garnered them airtime on local radio, and the band has recently released another new three-song CD, which they have made available at mp3.com.
