History
lost in the haze of clarity. a flash that its all gone wrong. lost track of days keep slippin' away. all the pretty one's at bay wanted to do it my way but too much adversity gravity the tumbling down in the timeless dark i have less and less to say. supposed to write songs with a strangulated voice and tired hands and fingers rubbing raw on rusted strings the joy is hard won and hidden besides. but as long as someone somewhere cares... back on the ride legs pounding the pedals, wheels turn face against whipping wind the buildings scattered trying to be a city that's fading one step away from decay. i've travelled the line that runs up here dying cities links in a chain dissolving back to the elements. turning more wheels i chose the hardest stupidest path so every minute is consumed no mundane comforts no chance of boredom here. to what end what gain? whatendwhatgain? insane to know we're all gonna go... now read this again with contemporary christmas music in the background.
