History
Uprising is a local rapcore/metal band from Rochester, New York. The band was formed in 2001. Over the past few years Uprising has been developing their music and overall sound with their creativity as musicians and as a band. Uprising has played at several local venues in Rochester and Buffalo, New York.

In November of 2002 Uprising participated in the local Harro East Ballroom Battle of the Bands. Uprising won first place at the Battle of the Bands and recieved sixteen hours of free recording time at East End Recording Studios located in downtown Rochester. With that recording studio time Uprising was able to record and release their very first demo.

Uprising has had nothing but positive feed back from their friends and fans at their local shows. Uprising has the talent and music creativity to stand out in the national music scene. Hopefully one day the dream of Uprising will come true, spreading their music to fans across the nation. To one day become national recording artists to entertain the ears of millions with their freestylin' lyrics, rocking drum beats, heavy metal rifts, and booming bass lines.
