mesh factor consists of:
Mike Anello:vocals, guitar, keyboards, sax, trumpet
Mark Barrows:drums and percussion; backing vocals
Randy Ford: midi keyboards, electronic wind instrument and backing vocals
Jerry Rock:bass guitar and backing vocals

Influences
Inspiration for lyrics and music comes from deep within the recesses(nooks & crannies) of Mike's being-wherever that is! I'm thinking synapses and stuff!

History
mesh factor started in the basement of drummer Mark Barrows in the winter of our discontent-2001. Withstanding a few personnel changes, it has emerged intact with new faces and with much energy and promise.
mesh factor advanced to the semi-finals of Freetime Magazine & Milestones' "Rochester's Most Popular Band"Contest in 2004, before bowing out to eventual winner, Out of Line. They have appeared at Milestones as an opener for Filthy Funk and Fuzz of Deep Banana Blackout, Dreaming Tree,The Niche and The Buddhahood. They have also appeared at The Niche's Nichefest in Sackets Harbor. Other gigs have included The Club at Water Street, The Park Ave. Festival, Slammers with Boys Lie and Big Noise, California Brew Haus with Willie & the Reihnharts and 6L6, Mastrella's with Freestilewalking, Smokin' Joes, RIT/Crossroads and various private functions.
