| Nick and Dave met in sixth grade, which is about 7 years ago. They tried dating at first, and it just didn't work, so they formed a band. They had a ton of drummers for a few years, 5, apparently, and they had various other guitar players, and eventually nick ran into josh, and they played together, and it was pleasant. The first 6 shows together were pretty terrible. Then they started to be really good, and in the spring of 2002, the band began recording a full length album. It took a long time, although it doesn't sound like it, and "Playday" was released in June of the same year. A couple weeks later, the band left for their first one week tour, which hit rhode island, connecticutt, maine, among others. In December of 2002, the band recorded another demo, and went on tour again. Playtoy is now working hard on new songs for an upcoming full length, while preparing for another summer tour. In conclusion, Playtoy is very fun, and really likes boobs, so you should come to the shows, and flash them. |
