Dis-Harmony is a 5 piece rock band from Rochester NY that creatively blends the delicate sounds of violin & keyboard over above average song structures. By combining the violin & keyboard with their searing electric guitar assaults & beautiful acoustic numbers Dis-Harmony ultimately creates an overall dynamic sound that is both memorable & unique. Aside from the instrumental part of Dis-Harmony, their strong vocals & lyrical content rise above the average and way beyond their years. When layered over the music the band creates, their thought provoking lyrics make for unforgettable hooks that stir the emotions of all that listen...

Influences
Dis-Harmony's music draws from a wide range of influences. Assaulting the listener with ferocious guitar riffs one minute and weaving in the delicate beauty and grace of violin and piano parts the next, their sound reflects countless artists who've shaped the face of rock music.

History
Dis-Harmony's roots go back to 1998 when the entire band (still in High school) started playing music together, but it wasn't until the addition of their 2nd guitarist Vic Masters in 2001 that the band really felt complete. Still quite young, the bands ages range from 22-19, its members include: Chris Hingel / Drums, Mike Hogan / Vocals & Guitar, Vic Masters / Guitar, Jon Scholl / Keyboard, Andrew Strassell / Bass. The band's fan base has been steadily expanding since their formation in 1998 and has started to explode with the creation of their Street Team. Because of their fans strong dedication Dis-Harmony's music has spread out over New York state and started to touch the rest of the country via their website. The band plans to continue pursuing their musical career & hopes to gain much success in the music market.
