Description
Locust Sympathizer is a Rochester NY duo of electric washtub bass and drums, in something similar to the ritual industrial rhythmic-noise style. Conceived as a "folk-industrial" project, it's textural and methodical, while keeping some sense of humor in its end-times message. Some luddite messages come across in the instruments used, and a disaffection for the self-importance of human presence on the earth. And it's drum and bass, so you might even find it danceable!

Roster
Benjamin Hockenberry - Washtub bass, electronics, vocals
Christopher Drysdale - Drums, trombone

Influences
Mental Destruction, Converter, Lustmord, Hogscraper, Azure Skies, Caroliner, 16 Horsepower

History
Formed in January of 2004, 5-song debut in recording.
