| The Move is a modern instrumental jazz fusion trio based in Rochester, NY. The band was formed during the summer of 2003 by members Charlie Lindner, formerly of the Derelict Brew, on keyboards, Zac Culliton on Bass, and Shawn Drogan formerly of Liqwid, on drums. The trio's music is a unique blend of jazz and rock, with emphasis on improvisation. Influenced by legendary jazz musicians such as Miles Davis, John Coltrane, and Herbie Hancock, as well as modern artists like Charlie Hunter, John Scofield, and MMW, the band's sound is filled with high-energy rhythms and soulful melody. |
