**Description**
Rochester’s own, 3 Clouds From 9. Mostly original they can best be described as resembling JACK JOHNSON meets EARLY DAVE MATTHEWS (but FUNKier), meets the oldies, with a splash of Hip Hop! This band is so much fun, and almost immediately turns on new audiences and fans to their down to earth, friendly appeal. The 4 piece has 2 singers. They’ve been together since May ’04 and have been building a large fan base playing out in Rochester bars. Their mailing list is huge. Their music is spreading as the give away FREE LIVE cds from their last show @ EACH performance!! Buff State is the latest college radio station to be praising their tunes. Mostly original tunes, with a unique/fun mix of cover songs by, Bob Marley, Dave Matthews, Jay-Z, Soul Coughing, John Mayer, Modest Mouse, some oldies tunes, Jack Johnson, even Rick James, and even Eminem!! 3 Clouds From 9* frequents JIMMY MAC's in the Rochester High Falls District, (MARCH-12, 05!) as well as DR.S INN on East Ave (near Winton Rd.)
