Description
Award winning songwriter Dee Adams can be heard as a solo acoustic act, or in the band Dee & The Housecats. Performing songs like Dylan's "It Takes A Lot To Laugh, It Takes a Train To Cry" to Wilco's "Far Far Away", to Dee's original folk-rock songs, the sound is "y'allternative rock and blues".

Roster
Dee & The Housecats:
Dee Adams - acoustic guitar and vocals
Charlie Gannon - electric guitar
Mike Tinsmon - bass
Nick Runfola - drums

Influences
Americanarootsbluesandfolkrock. Drawn from Indigo Girls, Sheryl Crow, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, Wilco, Beatles, Rolling Stones, and each other.

History
Dee Adams, formerly of Rochester NY, recently won a Buffalo Music Award for Original Solo Acoustic, by performing her hook-filled folk-rock originals to coffeeshops and bars in the area. In Aug. 2005 she met up with experienced and remarkably talented guys Charlie Gannon, Mike Tinsmon, and Nick Runfola to form the Housecats. Imagine Bonnie Raitt's voice and Bob Dylan's backing band rolled into one...you'd be listening to Dee & The Housecats.
