The PowerSource Band is a eight piece group that originated with George Walton and Lenny McGruder (In 1994)
With two former members of the James Brown review. This old school band plays everything from Jazz to James Brown, following the sounds of the 60’s 70,’s 80’s.
On drums is a high energy singer named
Mr.Otis Holloman. There is only one “O”
On bass following the legacy of Stanley Clark is Mr.Norman Tisdell.
On lead guitar is the incredible Mr.Ervin Coaxum,following the styles of Ernie Isley and
Al Dimiola.
On first trumpet is Mr. Jace Jackson following the legendary sound of Miles Davis,
On second trumpet is the originator Mr George Walton, known around the world for his tour with the James Brown band review
On saxophone is the “pied piper” Mr Fred Hodges. On Keyboards is the “voice” Mr Lenny McGruder, known around the world for his tour with the James Brown band review.
