History
| Echohead began in 2006 as a simple garage band playing cover songs, but quickly discovered an amazing chemistry between the members that led to the creation and recording of 6 original songs. The ambitious "demo" was an instant hit with anyone who listened with its catchy, musical hooks reminiscent of Cheap Trick and Queen, and lyrics reflecting influences from Dream Theater and Alice Cooper. Demand for copies of the CD outpaced production, and the boys realized that maybe they were on to something. Since then, Ryan, Jeff and Jon have been busily working on several new songs for a formal CD release, and plan to begin playing out in 2007. With their infectious grooves and "hum-along" lyrics that you can't seem to get out of your head, it's no wonder they called themselves "Echohead." |
