Formed in 2006, and after an extensive musician search, the final lineup came together in 2007. This classic/modern rock 4 piece consists of some of Rochester, NY's best players. Forming under the pretense of "blowing people's minds" with great music and showcasing amazing musicianship, CHASING GIANTS have put together a night of rock that will deliver the goods!! Bringing the masses songs by rock favorites, but not the "same old songs" performed by every other band under the sun!! CHASING GIANTS performs great songs that the other bands can't or wouldn't have the BALLS to do!! Soulful singing, blistering guitar licks and solos, and a rhythm section of rock solid proportions cover renditions of classic rock music icons such as: LED ZEPPELIN, QUEEN, BAD COMPANY, FREE, HUMBLE PIE among others; as well as contemporary rock superstars such as PEARL JAM, SOUNDGARDEN, FOO FIGHTERS, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS among others. You've seen and heard these great local musicians in bands like: THE LOU GRAMM BAND, STRANGER-"AN EVENING OF FOREIGNER", NIK AND THE NICE GUYS, THE JEFF COSCO BAND, and THE CIRCUIT BREAKERS!!! NOW experience the sound of rock excellence as this new band breaks out into the club scene to blow the roofs off of the joint and keep Rochester's great music crowds fist shakin', primal screamin', and begging for more great rock!! Don't miss out on a great night of rock!!
