History
| Aspirations of forming a latin/gypsy punk band on Dan & And's minds found themselves ready for exploitation after a destined meeting with bongoist Mike, caught loitering outside an open mic in Geneseo, NY on a late Sunday in early September 2006. Jim Kuras, bassist for a shitload of sweet bands in the area joined up (after one of us saw a bass clef tattoed on his foot)...and then Matt came on and at our request attached like a barnacle to a schooner...our project was forming nicely, all of us feeling the groove of Manu Chao and Gogol Bordello covers. Jim moved on, and Sara P, extraordinary she is indeed, quickly expolited the Gaping Hole of Bass...our corazon was formed, our spine set, fingers and throats were ready to assist in the creation of wild parties and degenerate behaviors that follow around bands of individuals like the aforementioned. |
