Description
Musically, the band has been compared to Dashboard Confessional, Brand New, Something Corporate, and The Early November combined with the classic style of Bryan Adams, Tom Petty and the Counting Crows. While they don't aim for a specific music style, their main objective has always been to write music that people can connect to and feel a part of, regardless of age, race or gender.

They have a solid record of live performance, having played at various venues throughout western NY. Club promoters and private show bookings alike have responded with praise to the band for the clarity and precision with which they perform. Taking pride in this, the band is always looking for new ways to deliver to an ever expanding crowd, playing fan favorites and catchy originals. Their goal is to make an environment where everyone feels comfortable with the music and with each other. They are sincere musicians with a passion for bringing people together in song.

History
Plus Suffix is a two-piece acoustic band born from the womb of music-laden Western NY. From its humble beginnings in the spring of 2002, Plus Suffix has undergone many changes and fought many struggles. The biggest struggle for Plus Suffix was when pianist, Dave Sullivan, moved from Rochester, NY to Richmond, VA in the fall of 2004. After 2 years, Plus Suffix seemed all but dead. But in March 2007, Dave and Jordan decided to give the band one final push, resulting in the recording of their 5 song EP 'We Always Take the Hard Way'. Soon after its recording, Dave moved back to Rochester, and the band is finally reunited and gearing up for bigger and better things. They are currently working on new material and are available for booking.
