History
| Formed in August, 2006, Rift Inside is Doug Beaudin - Drums, Bob Graham - Vocals, Mike Falzone - Bass, and Mike Guarino - Guitars & Backing Vocals. All band members have played in various local bands over the years including Bog, Goldleaf and Ascendum. Rift Inside found themselves working together intermittently over the last several years and soon realized the need to write new music and play again together. They began rehearsing and preparing music that would eventually be included on a full length CD. Several brand new songs were written from the ground up, and others were polished into the versions that exist today. Eight songs were recorded in the basement and garage in September/October 2006. Realizing that the material was strong, it was then professionally mixed and mastered at GFI Productions during the Summer of 2007. Rift Inside played a CD Release Show at the California Brew Haus on November 3rd 2007. Rift Inside's music can best be described as modern rock with a classic rock/pop edge - placing emphasis on melodic vocals. Rift Inside creates music that puts the listener in a good place, and lyrically has something intelligent to say - rather than rely on the standard rock and roll cliches. The members all share songwriting and production duties, pushing each other to perform their best. In addition to this musical partnership, Rift Inside's members share a strong friendship outside of music, which further strengthens the band and music.
