Influences
My first love is jazz and fusion, but have played just about every type of popular music. More specialized in blues and bop/avante garde. Very spontaneous and original but schooled in rudimental drumming and can read charts as well.
Favorite drummers include Art Blakey, Jack DeJohnette, Buddy Rich, Steve Gadd, Vinnie Colaiuta, Dave Weckl, Antonio Sanchez, Bill Stewart, Billy Higgins, Al Foster, Cliff Almond, Horatio Hernandez. |
