Description
Random Order is not your run of the mill rock band. This four piece group uses influences that stretch as far and reach as deep as music itself. With a strong acoustic rhythm, mind-bending leads, soulful bass lines, drum patterns that could be mistaken for a mid-summer thunderstorm, and vocal harmonies that are sure to move you with quality and lyrical content, Random Order has made quite a buzz in the Upstate N.Y. music scene. Random Order has been featured numerous times on 96.5 WCMF and 90.5 WBER and played venues all over Upstate. By placing second in Tremors "Battle of the Bands" and winning The Penny Arcade/WCMF "Made in Rochester" competition, they have proved the critics that they are one of the finest acts around. Rick Scheel (Bass, Vocals) and Steve Close (Drums, Vocals) have been looping in and out of the Upstate music scene for some time. Prior to Random Order, they comprised the rhythm section for a handful of rock and blues outfits. Brian Copenhagen (Lead Guitar), being a Rochester native, grew up with the music scene there. With his prior venture, Chapter 7, he won the "Made in Rochester" as well. Paul Brewer (Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar) Moved to Rochester, N.Y. from Florida, where his previous endeavor, L.S.D. played the Orlando circuit for locals and tourists for 5 years. Random Order is dedicated to creating sounds and lyrics that everyone can relate to.
