History
Random Establishment was formed in the spring of 2001. Originally called "Maytridy," (taken from the word Maitri'd, yes we went dictionary surfing) the band first consisted of only Kevin and Skylar. At first Kevin was playing a saxophone, but then he began to play the old drum kit in Skylar's garage. Learning fast, Kevin developed a good playing style. In the summer of 2001, the band decided Evan Vaczy would play bass for them, since he had previous experience in guitar playing. Evan's uncle in NYC sent him a Fender Precision bass, which he still plays. The band began writing songs, many which were thrown away or dropped after countless times playing them. After Kevin bought a drum set, the practice sessions moved to his basement, which had the major advantage of being warmer in the winter. In spring of 2004, the band decided to move Evan to Vocals and get Hannah Bazarian on bass. Shortly after, Hannah was arrested for cat-fishing out of season, so the band was forced to replace her their long-time friend Sean Holly. Evan quit the group in the spring of 2005. Kevin quit shortly after, and was replaced with Devan. |
