Description
A bunch of the old, a dash of new... A mix of folk / singer songwriter style, and rock.
(visit www.myspace.com/johnsacheliband to listen)

A big majority of original songs, but we'll throw in a few covers here and there you don't hear all the time. Sometimes acoustic, sometimes electric...

Can easily play in a small or large venue.

Roster
John Sacheli - vocals, guitars, keyboards, harmonicas, and songwriter.

Matt Klock - Bass guitar, Analog Synth, guitar

Joe Myers - Drums & percussion

(occasionally joined by Nate Swift - Backing Vocals and Rhythm Guitar)

Influences
Major influences in the songwriting include Neil Young, James Taylor, Jimi Hendrix, CSN, John Lennon, & Bob Dylan.

We really listen to a bit of everything here and there - we're big music geeks.

History
John and Matt have played on and off again (in various bands) with eachother since the late 1990's. Joe Myers has recorded with Johnny Cummings and was the last drummer in Crystalson, a progressive / alternative rock band which also included Matt, Matt's brother Mike, and John.

John left Crystalson to form the Acoustic Band, "Five Points," with Nate Swift, Todd Stahl, and Bobby Maville and soon after asked Joe to Join the band as they began to play more electic music.

Five Points broke up in early 2005. Nate, John, Joe, and Matt started jamming together and in the Spring of 05 they became "After August." They have recorded a 5 song EP titled "Cheap Old Cars," and will release a new full length album in the sping of 2006.
