History
This band was formed in 2006 with veteran musicians throughout the Rochester Area. Tony Paulino formerly of Rampage/T-Blast And The Horn Dogs was looking for a sound different from all the other brass bands out there, loving the big powerful sound that a brass section adds to a band, but not wanting to play the hookie music that every horn band plays. So, teaming up with Mark Lancaster also of Rampage/Heritage and Dawn Garnier formerly of Poison Whiskey/T-Blast And The Horn Dogs, they proceeded to put together a band made up of some Rochester's most seasoned musicians, including Dave Quick from The Kid Kurry Band/Park Avenue Band, Ken Mims from Innuendo/Rumors, Steve Salerno from The Works/Rampage/Lickety Split, plus a dynamic horn section including Mike Boehm, John Kolody, Rocky Pellegrino. These guys have played with bands such as the Legendary Dukes, The Coupe DeVilles, Power Company, and Unlimited. Together these musicians make up a very powerful, high energy rock-n-roll band, playing very recognizable music without "the wedding band" sound. |
